labor watch - Labour Ministry Nidal Katamine on Tuesday announced urgent measures to ensure jobs for people with disabilities (PWDs) and integrating them into the labour market.
Katamine said the ministry would immediately start necessary inspections to ensure private institutions’ commitment to a 4 per cent minimum employment quota allocated for PWDs.
He noted that the third phase of the National Employment Campaign, which started in September, has so far provided 2,000 job opportunities for PWDs.
